Big House Communities and Holy Fools Present Learning from the Locals 2
Learnings is a bringing together of a tribe of people who are exploring alternate approaches to church, mission and community. It is a chance for those who have done Forge or not to get together, network, pray and share.
We believe that God is active and teaching each of us through our different stories and experiences. On Saturday the 12th of December we invite you to come and share those learnings with others.
As well you will have the chance to interact with practitioners who may be a few more steps down the road.
We’ll look at such topics as; community development (as an approach to mission), community life, the homeless crisis, sustaining ourselves in ministry for the long haul, missional theology for a revolution, empowering the poor – social enterprise in the west and the importance of our indigenous conversation.
After dinner, is a special time, where we’ll get to eyeball each other and explore where to from here, including the possibility of intentionally networking and supporting each other in our Kingdom dreams.
